WHO WE ARE

Fondazione ITS Agrorisorse is a Higher Technological Education Institute (ITS) part of the Italian system of Higher Education. It is a short-cycle tertiary level education pathways provider.

It has been founded in 2014 in Lodi thanks to the partnership between enterprises, institutions, schools, universities, training organisations and research institutes operating in the agri-food sector.

Fondazione ITS Agrorisorse represents the non-academic tertiary education and training segment in the field of agri-food and agriculture and the aim of the courses provided is to meet the business demand of technicians who possess new and higher technological skills and are able to promote innovation, to manage and control organization and production processes typical of these sectors.

Fondazione ITS Agrorisorse is located in the Lombardy Region in the provinces of Lodi and Cremona, and the head office is based in Lodi at the PTP Science Park, a scientific and technological park that has been operating for over 10 years in the agri-food research and development sector and that supports the development of new business enterprises thanks to its incubator, the international technological accelerator called Alimenta.

Over the years, Fondazione ITS Agrorisorse has developed strong relationships with several companies of the agri-food sector, that, in various ways, are involved in the training activities, for example by providing professors with expertise, training rooms, laboratories or by hosting our students for their traineeship or apprenticeship.

For the first time, in 2021, the Foundation has acquired the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the period 2021-2027. Participating in Erasmus+ Programme represents an important internationalization opportunity, allowing students to go abroad for higher education and traineeship allowing the exchange of good practices and innovation between the academic and administrative staff in the sector covered by the Foundation.

In 2022, two of our students received the grant and were able to do their traineeship abroad. Filippo has done his traineeship in Switzerland in the dairy sector; Elia flew to Ireland to work in the hospitality sector.
